In these challenging times, it´s essential to stand together and be there for each other. For this reason, Gewista, in cooperation with Trenkwalder, is offering all employees and customers free access to the digital learning platform Trenkwalder Learning. The aim is to support parents and children who have been affected by school closures.
With access to the Trenkwalder Learning App and Learning Portal, children of all ages can learn and practice via interactive tools on all digital devices. They can choose from over 1,000 hours of online English courses with videos, games, grammar exercises, as well as pronunciation and vocabulary training. In addition, video courses covering the most important mathematics topics, with explanatory tutorials and interactive exercises, are available for students in grades 5-11.
With these courses, children learn through a wide range of games and exercises based on the latest findings in brain research. Parents can follow any learning progress to support the further development of their children in the best possible way.
"The use of digital media in learning, training, and coaching is pathbreaking also for Gewista. Mobile learning through blended learning and/or digital learning forms are not only appropriate for times like these, but also for the new world of work: which means flexible timing and a mix of exercises from video-supported to tutor units (online or in presence). We will work with a mixed form of learning and training. Online coaching is also a good solution - no travel time and more flexible time management," says Dr. Edith Singer, Head of Human Resources Gewista Werbegesellschaft mbH.
"We are very glad to support employees, customers and cooperation partners of Gewista with our digital Trenkwalder Learning App. It is our great concern to support parents and children in times of school closures and home schooling. We see the current corona crisis also as an opportunity for rethinking education and training and for moving towards flexible solutions such as digital learning platforms. People and companies are experiencing more and more that home office, communication via video conferencing and online learning works and, if applied correctly, offers more advantages than expected. Therefore, we are significantly expanding our offer in the field of mobile learning to be able to provide the right solutions for all companies and their employees", explains Dr. Michaela Meier, CEO Trenkwalder Learning GmbH.
